Helen, Diane and Nikki, the ladies on the front desk are brilliant. There are very helpful, polite and kind to me. They ask how I am doing, that little guesture means a lot to me. The front of house is the first impression a patient gets so it important to have the 'right personalities' on the desk/phone. I am not very mobile so the telephone appointment system works brilliantly. You can get a telephone appointment on the same day. The only negatives for me are: When you talk to a new Doctor you have to start your story again, bring back family doctors that knew your family history. The total lack of interpersonal skills, the lack of compassion shown by some Doctors, Nurses and front of house staff. Personality transplant comes to mind. Generally with in the NHS the focus, driver with money. There is a lot of waste and a number of over worked people. The lack of holistic and 'you need to book another appointment for that'. I could go on, it's enough for today

I requested a call back because all the appointments were gone by 8:45 and i have bad kidneys and im in really bad pain with them and the doctor didn't even call me back so i am going to leave them because from the receptionist to the doctors everyone in that building are jokes it makes me sick

I contacted Flatt Walks surgery at 10.30 on 24.2.16 to request an appointment for my son. I was unable to ring at 8am but was extremely worried about my son. The receptionist listened to my concerns and arranged for a doctor to call me back. Following a converstaion with the Dr an appointment was made for my son at 12.00 the same day at Cleator Moor Healthcentre with Dr Goh. All the staff that we dealt with showed kindness, compassion and understanding to me as a worried mam and to my son. I would like to thank them all for making a difficult situation much easier. Thank you.

This doctors is a joke! You phone for appointments their is none most of the time and when you do get one its with the nurse practitioner and i seen her about pains in my heart and all she said was oh that's weird well i knew that already thats why i went!!!!!! If your in this doctors your better off sitting in choc for 3 hours seriously its laughable how scrappy the care is they wont send you for scans or anything if you look well.
